This is the new slogan of the Junta de Andalucia, directed at British tourists, who are the most important market for this area. The Junta's tourism department wants to make Andalucia into the "second home" for Brits.
The Tourism Minister, Luciano Alonso, said that while there was a big demand from British tourists for sun and beach holidays, there was also growing demand for less seasonal activities, such as culture, golf, gastronomy and the Sierra Nevada. He was speaking at World Travel Market, the most important and biggest annual travel trade meeting, which took place in London last week. Alonso met major tour operators such as Martin Randall Travel, Page & Moy and Golf Breaks.
