Real Escuela de Arte Equestre

For a real performance of the most noble and classical kind, no one should miss the magnificent stallions of the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art.

Alcazar Real

The Alcázar Réal (Royal Palace) of Seville is one of the city’s most enchanting, and most popular, historic monuments. Along with the Cathedral and Archive of the Indies, it is recognised as UNESCO World Heritage. The word alcázar actually means fortified palace, and this one is hidden behind castle walls on Plaza del Triunfo opposite the Cathedral.

Casa Fabiola, Seville

This collection of Sevillano costumbrista paintings, sculpture, furniture and porcelain is on show in a mansion in Barrio Santa Cruz. Donated to the city by the art collector Mariano Bellver, this collection of 567 works encompasses painting, sculpture, porcelain and religious pieces.

Museo Internacional Arte Naïf

The International Museum of Naive Art, also known as the International Museum of Naive Art “Manuel Moral”, is an art gallery situated in the left wing of the Villardompardo Palace. The collection was initiated by Manuel Moral Mozas, a naïve style artist from Torredelcampo, who donated his private collection to the Provincial of Jaén.

Jaen Archaeology and Fine Arts Museum

The building of the Museum of Archaeology and Fine Arts, or simply Museum of Jaén, dates from 1920 and was designed by the architect, Antonio Flórez Urdapilleta. It is designed as a square footprint  arranged around a central patio. The patio and interior portal, of the lost Iglesia de San Miguel date from 1561.

Centro Andaluz de la Fotografía

The only public center of photography in Spain, the Andalusian Center of Photography (CAF) is situated what was the once the Lycée Français of Almeria. It is a headquarters space created for different uses in which, in addition to exhibitions of photography of all styles and times, a photographic library is also offered to the public.

Museo de la Guitarra Española “Antonio de Torres”

The Spanish Guitar Museum is more than a museum space; it is an exhibition and information center that through an entertaining and simple way, allow visitors to get to know one of the most popular musical instruments in the world: the guitar. There are various exhibition rooms with temporary and permanent exhibits, a multipurpose room.

Museo Provincial de la Uva del Barco

This Museum was founded in 2006 by the Terque City Council and the Asociación de Amigos del Museo. The Uva del Barco Provincial Museum was provisionally located in the Manuel Galiana municipal theater hall, in Plaza de los Barrileros, while its current building was in construction. Its objective is to reconstruct the social and economic history of the city and province of Almería.

Museo Histórico Etnográfico

The Historical Ethnographic Museum was founded in 2002 by the Terque City Council and the Asociación de Amigos del Museo. It is located in one of the many nineteenth-century bourgeois houses in the town square. Following its rooms across two floors is a tour of local trades, many of them now disappeared, as well as domestic settings and religious.

Centre of Contemporary Andalucian Art

The Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo is housed in the magnificent 15th-century Monasterio Santa Maria de las Cuevas. Known as La Cartuja, this is located in the district of the same name, north of Triana and across the river from the city centre – look for the iconic, cone-shaped towers.

Espacio Exploraterra (formerly Espacio Primera Vuelta al Mundo) and Nao Victoria 500

In 1519 Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan set sail from Seville with a fleet of five naos (carracks or carvel-built wooden sailing ships) to find the Molluca spice islands, in modern-day Indonesia. Three years later, only one of his naos returned, the Nao Victoria, captained by Juan Sebastian Elcano – Magellan had been killed in a conflict in the Philippines.

Almeria Port Interpretation Centre

This centre in Almeria portholds two important archaeological remains: a salted fish factory, the only Roman remains preserved in the city; and one of the gates from the Islamic wall which enclosed the city.
