Torremuelle, district of Benalmadena

Torremuelle is Benalmadena Costas most westerly district which overlaps into Fuengirola. It is mostly known for the Torremuelle beach and small coves which runs the entire length of the district. There is watchtower here and a station on the Fuengirola to Malaga cercanias line.

Torremuelle is a strip of coastline strip of coastline where the steep hills come down to the coast. It was originally on the sea side of the railway line and mostly on the sea side of the coast road. Since the 2000s the apartment are located on both side of the road and railway line. Nowadays the road traffic is local traffic and planter area and roundabouts have be added.

Of historic interest is the old Torremuelle watchtower on the headline overlooking Torremuelle beach and the other small coves of this part of the coastline.

Torremuelle train station

Torremuelle train station is located close to the coast in the west of Benalmadena Costa close to Benalmadena on Calle Guadalhorse where there is a small car park. This road is on the sea side of the station. There are steps and elevators up to the two platform separated by the double tracks. Platform 1 is for direction Fuengirola and platform 2 is for direction Malaga. Ticket machines are provided. Departure and arrival times from Adif.
