Sun&Snow Weekend Festival, Sierra Nevada

Sun&Snow Weekend Festival, Sierra Nevada 5 to 7 April 2024

The fifth edition of the Sun&Snow Weekend Festival took place on the first weekend of April 2024. The festival took the European club scene to new heights (2,500m) and is now firmly established in the dance music calendar.

A tribute to the European and especially Berlin club scene was the theme of the festival's fifth anniversary programme.   Due due to unusually high winds at the Sierra Nevada Ski resort, the festival organisers were forced to modify the schedules. The festival saw total of 6,000 attendees pass through the different venues of Sun & Snow Weekend at Sierra Nevada.

The festival opened on the Friday as planned  however the wind were forecast for the Saturday and Sunday. This closed the ski lift and access to the Ski area of Borreguiles, where the festival's Altitude stage was prepared and waiting to go.  The DJ sets that were scheduled for the outdoor Altitude stage were moved to other stages of the festival.  such as those located in the Peñones car park: The Mountain Club and Igloo Stage, which continued as normal with extended opening hours.
