Ferries

Ferries to Morocco

The route between Tarifa (Spain) and the buzzing port of Tangier (Morocco) is the shortest seaway between the two continents and the recommended route for tourism. Frequent ferries also connect Algeciras with the ports of Ceuta and Tangier MED which is an out of town port suitable for those driving south. These ferry crossings can be supplemented with a variety of organised land excursions in and around Tangier.

Boat & Ferry Rides

Some companies offer luxury yacht and boat hire, a luxury sailing concierge, who can arrange almost everything from sunset cruises with fine dining to trips to Morocco and Portugal. All in all it's great to see Andalucia from the sea.

Sanlúcar de Barrameda - Ferry to Doñana

You can catch the open ferry boats from Playa Bajo de Guia over the Guadalquivir river to the shores of Parque Nacional de Doñana (and back again). From here you can walk along the beach or walk a little way into the park, although there is not much to see at this point. Special permission is required to enter the park at this point in a motor vehicle.
