Car Parking in Estepona
Parking on the street is difficult in Estepona. Certainly not in the old town or the central area. You may be lucky in the outskirts. We recommend that you use a car park. Estepona was effectively cut in two halves (east and west) back in May 2022 when the N-340 coastal road along the town's seafront was pedestrianised.
You will need to consider whether to:
Enter from the east (A-7 exit 1067, was km 158) enter along Avenida Litoral.
Enter from the north (A-7 exit 1070, was km 155) enter along Avenida Juan Carlos I.
Enter from the west (A-7 exit 1067, was km 152) enter along Avenida del Carmen.

Free open air car parks:
Parking Palacio de Congresos
Parking Palacio de Congresos is a spacious tarmac open air car park. Parking is around the back of the the congress centre and next to the bus station. This parking is further (1.900m) from Estepona town centre however it has the advantage easy access and a taxi rank (on the east side near the bus station) to speed you to the town centre. Ideal if you don't have a lot of time to spare. Location
Parking Litoral.
Parking Litoral is a large 300 place open air free 24hrs parking on the entrance to Estepona. There are always spaces, it is a stone not tarmac surface with a hidden access and a longer walk (1.400m to Calle Terraza) to the town centre. Access when arriving into Estepona is to turn abruptly right opposite the Carrefour supermarket inmediately ater the bus shelter and pedestrian crossing. From here is a relatively longer downhill walk to the town centre. Best cross the road on leaving the car park and walk along the seafront. There is a bus stop outside this parking which offers the irregular L1 and L2 microbus service to the town centre. The L-79 bus from Marbella stops to set down only. Read about Estepona Bus service.

Parking La Cala.
The 200 place roadside Parking La Cala is being turned into a pedestrian walkway, however the 100 place extention parking just off the inland side of Avenida del Literoral is open although oftern full. Access when arriving into Estepona is to turn right into Calle Tiniente Serra just before the bridge ofer Arroyo la Cala. The free open air car park is on the right hand side. From here is a relatively easy walk (950m to Calle Terraza) to the town centre. Either take the seafront promende or walk along the length of Calle Malaga or Calle Caridad.

Underground Parking. Entrance seafront located at east end of Avenida España. Public parking on the lower of the two levels. Elevator and stairs provided for pedestrian access. Convenient for central old town Estepona, main post office, seafront stroll. 200 spaces. Open 24 hrs. Public parking on lower level. Take ticket and pay at machine before returning to car. 2.40€ per hour. 17€ for 24 hours. Exit is at east end making it rather complicated.

Along Avenida del Mar and in particular Calle Eslovaquia, and in the Los Mesas area.

The underground Plaza Antonia Guerrero car park . Municipal Car Park Plan. Three underground floors. Capacity for 110 places. Located in centre of old town off Calle de la Terraza. Conveinient location for city centre. Complicated to reach this car park located inside the ZBE Zone. Open 24 hrs.
