Jaen to Madrid  TRAIN ROUTE

Time: 4hrs 
Frequency: four trains daily
Stops: Jaen, Mengibar-Artichuela, Linares-Baeza, Viches, ...... and on to  Valdepeñas, Manzanares, Aranjuez and Madrid.

Leaving Jaen the train climbs up to Linares and Baeza, where it joins the line south from Granada and Almeria. Climbing north through Vilches and then the closed station of Santa Elena the train makes its way with a series of bridges and tunnels through the famous gorge of Despeñaperros. The area is a beutiful natural park. Enjoy the views, One last tunnel and the train is out of Andalucia and crossing the rolling plains of Castille la Mancha.
